My 365 | Week 15

10.6.13 – 10.12.13

Fall is in the air this week. Everything is drying up. It makes for the most beautiful colors.120-365-1006-2089

This little guy is thinking about being tame. Our cats are good barn cats – tame enough to stick around and be good mousers but not too tame to be underfoot all the time. The kids really want to tame this kitten down. I think if they’d stop chasing him, he might comply.122-365-1008-2129

Jake is getting as much sandbox playtime in as he can before the weather gets cold. He told me he was making a dirt pile here so he could sell the dirt to people to make roads. I love a man with a plan.

Had some time to kill between after-school activities so took my son and a friend to the park for a picnic and playtime. It was a perfect fall day and they had the place to themselves!124-365-1010-2153

Ended the week at a high school volleyball tournament to meet up with my best friend from high school. She helps coach and her daughter plays. They live across the state and it’s too long between visits! While there, I got a few shots of our high school volleyball team (in the green) to use in the newspaper. GO RUSTLERS!126-365-1012-2228

  1. jaimi I love your barn cat too! When we worked out of a barn on a farm for a few years, mama cat that is quite tame and loves us, had a number of litters. One year we tried to get them to be adopted by the city folks because the remains of the litters just got fewer and fewer :(. Great action shot on the v-ball too!

  2. Beautiful week! I love your landscape shots (always do!), but also really enjoyed the playground photos. Beautiful, vibrant colors and looks like so much fun 🙂
