My 365 | Week 29

1.12.14 – 1.18.14

OK, folks, this is real life.

I am not a fantastic housekeeper; I’ve never claimed to be. However I’d been a little (okay, a lot) preoccupied with various members of my family (and me) suffering with strept throat, sinus infections, and stomach flu all while I’m trying to crank out bull sale catalogs as fast as I can – ’tis the sale season, you know!  So this is all I mustered for a photo today. Also, did I mention I hate to do dishes?

{It was also my take on “Imperfection” for a photo a week group I belong to. It was one of several featured for the week here, My Four Hens P52 Imperfection Eye Candy.}

A break in the subzero temperatures and hurricane-force winds meant it was time to move cattle. While I was watching one gate, Jimmy (sitting on the fence) opened the gate for his dad (in the payloader).219-365-0113-6633

Time for Belle’s bath. She doesn’t look near as fat and fluffy when she is wet. But, oh, does she smell better!220-365-0114-6651

Jake created beautiful artwork and hung out in his favorite pajamas (yes I had washed them from the prior day’s bath experience.) I needed to get a catalog finished up and art keeps him occupied. I set him up near my computer and we had the best conversation. 221-365-0115-6670

The doorway to my living room is constantly filled with toys. I wish the boys were as OCD about picking up their toys as they are about getting the cows set in perfectly straight rows.223-365-0117-6735

Belle received a hand-me-down coat from her furry cousin. It’s ridiculous to put clothes on animals, but OH MY GOODNESS it is so cute!224-365-0118-6763

Next up in the circle is Melissa, see what she has been up to this week on her blog, HERE.
