My 365 | Week 39

3.23.14 – 3.29.14

Sunday afternoon nap in the sunshine. You’d think she could find a more comfortable pillow, though.288-365-0323-9031

After Jimmy experienced another seizure last week, we headed back to the neurologist. He suffered his worst seizure to date just before getting an EEG. I wouldn’t wish this feeling of helplessness and frustration on any parent.

Day 1 on anti-seizure medication. Not a good day. Focusing on the iPad helped calm the mood swings.

Hoping a change of scenery to change the attitude. We headed down to the creek for the first time this year. They boys had a blast checking the depth of the water and breaking ice with sticks.

We’re starting to have quite a few calves each day. This is one of my favorite times of the year. These little buggers are so cute!

I can’t complain about helping out in the calving barn when the walk there looks like this. I  submitted this image for the My Four Hens Project 52 group I belong to. The theme was “Vast”. I was excited and flattered to have this image chosen as the weekly winner for the Project 52 group I am a part of with My Four Hens Photography AND also was featured on Flickr’s EXPLORE (their showcase of the most interesting uploads of the day) as well!!

This little guy got his hoof hurt just after birth. Today was bandage change day. While Brady didn’t really need all the kids’ help to get it done, they were excited to help. (And did a great job, too!)
