James made his First Communion today with a sizable (for our small country parish) group of four children. Three of them have been attending classes together all year and the fourth joined us from a neighboring parish.
Jimmy was nervous beforehand but whispered to me after receiving the host, “It tastes like ice cream cone.” So, not a bad review, I’d say.
