My 365 | Week 19

11.03.13 – 11.09.13

Jake didn’t want anyone to trip and fall in the ginormous hole in our back yard so he sat in it during the big kids’ soccer game.

Brady spent some time teaching the kids how to shoot. It’s an exercise in patience for all involved but a whole lot of fun, too! After this afternoon, Tricia decided, instead of a iPod touch, she wants a BB gun or a bow for Christmas.150-365-1105-3547

Edited this post to add a few iPhone pictures (this and the produce pic at the bottom) to get me back on track with a photo a day. Jim and I went to the shop to lend a hand to Brady. Ultimately, they didn’t so much need me. I’m afraid (or maybe am happy?) that will be happening more often as the kids grow bigger. And, yes, Jim is shirtless. The mom in me wouldn’t let him get under the greasy tractor with his good school shirt on. Our shop is heated. It was 70° in there.

I was trying to get a good vantage point of the windmill in the middle of this field. I couldn’t get quite close enough to make the shot work. Extra points if you can find the windmill. 🙂149-365-1104-3562

After that beautiful sunshiney day, we woke up the next morning to fog and real thick frost.151-365-1106-3573

Back in the field to finish combining corn. That’s the last of the crop in. Yay!! 152-365-1107-

Jake’s favorite place while mom gets ready for work –  zoned out watching cartoons.153-365-1108-3591

Another Bountiful Basket day. Tricia and I volunteered to help sort and hand out the produce. I was surprised how quickly it came together. We received some yummy fruits and vegetables for our meal inspiration the next few weeks.154-365-1109 iPhone BountifulBaskets

  1. Love the bokeh in the sunburst image and I would love to experience a day in your life Jaimi :). A lot of hard work with heart – your images always show its beauty! Windmill is just peeking out at the grass horizon; just right of the middle of the image.

  2. Amazing week Jaimi! I can’t believe the difference a day makes, from sunny one day to all that frost the next, love the contrast.
