A big shout-out to my father-in-law for grabbing my camera and taking this shot of my sister-in-law, myself, my daughter and my mother-in-law – I love it!!

May showers bring muddy roads. I am thankful for the moisture, our crops and pastures desperately need it.339-365-0513-0334
Tricia’s drumline group, Sheltered Reality, performed at Miller Elementary School. They brought down guest drummers from the audience (including a few teachers) for this number – then surprised them with choreography, too!

The last day of school ends with the Fun Field Day. I helped with the kindergarteners and first graders. They are an awesome bunch of kids. Jimmy and his friend made it through the three-legged race after a few falls.

Jake also had his last day of pre-school. He made a cute art project using his feet as paint brushes. He wanted his feet washed immediately but I made him sit a second to get this.342-365-0513-0338
The first family “bombfire”, as Jake calls it, of the summer in our backyard. We shared a beautiful evening roasting s’mores and watching the stars.343-365-0517-0660
