Off to school

We returned home from vacation yesterday – more to come about that but I need to get through laundry before I start in on the pictures – just in time to send the big kids off to 3rd and 1st grade this morning. I say it every year, but where did the summer go?

Both kids got great teachers and are excited to begin the year in the new elementary building today.

Tricia proudly announced she was the first one up this morning. When I asked her what time she woke up, she said her alarm clock said 2:00. OMG! I think she’ll be ready for bed tonight.

Since everyone was up and at ’em so early, we enjoyed some playtime outside before the bus came.
