My 365 | Week 30
1.19.14 – 1.25.14
All you really need to keep a kid occupied is a puppy and a box.
I got done a bit early with the newspaper so enjoyed a hot cup of tea in peace and quiet before the kids got home. The sound of that teapot whistling takes me back to childhood tea time with my grandma.
Jake set up his battlefield right next to my computer so I could play with him while I worked.
It was too cold for Jake to ride shotgun in the tractor to help his daddy load the truck so he just watched from the living room window.
I tried cooking brussels sprouts for the first time. I thought they turned out fantastic. My family’s opinion wasn’t as favorable. The recipe is HERE.
Someone posted on Facebook the other day about how they love when someone’s laugh is funnier than the joke. I laughed the whole time we had extra kiddos here. Even though they are my middles’ friends, everyone had a good time.
A few of our yearling bulls. We’re starting preparations for our annual production sale here at the ranch at the end of February.
Next up in the circle is Cynthia Dawson Photography. Hop on over to her blog to see her week.
