My 365 | Week 11
9.8.13 – 9.14.13
Playing with my speedlight at sunset with my ballerina. (More shots here.)
Traditional burning of the ‘M’ after Coronation to kick off Homecoming Week.
Jake’s first day of preschool. He couldn’t have been more excited!
My sedum is just starting to bloom.
Jimmy shakes glitter onto the 1st grade’s Homecoming float sign.
I know it’s supposed to be ONE photo a day, but I took so many Homecoming Friday, I just couldn’t choose. Here’s a montage of what the day was all about: parade (and LOTS of candy), shenanigans at the pep ralley, capped off with the football game.
A couple of my favorite men riding out to move cows.
Hop on over to Melissa’s blog to see her week in photographs.
Jaimi, that image of your girl is stunning and I love your composition on the last one – lots of sky and centered!
Wow…I love, love the macro shot of the sedum! The bokeh, colors…just beautiful! Great week!
Thanks for giving us Canadians a taste of homecoming culture! Awesome colour and energy in those shots. And I love that you’ve broken the rules somewhat in the last image. It gives you a sense of the big sky country you are living in.
love the burning shot! brings me back to my college days, we lit a huge “W” on the mountainside on fire every fall!
Jaimi, I love how when I look at your images I feel I am on the farm. The last one is beautiful! And the ballerina one…WOW!!
