My 365 | Weeks 24 & 25
12.8.13 – 12.14.13
Winter sunset
My little snow angel.
Headed to Mexico; the Chicago skyline from the air.
Sunset over my tiki hut.
A rainy day on the beach is still a good day.
Beautiful city streets of Playa del Carmen.
The guys went fishing so my mom, sister, and I enjoyed the Mayan ruin of Tulum.
12.15.13 – 12.21.13
Love this shot of a fisherman bringing in his daily catch on a pier on Isla Mujeres
Cranes dive-bombing fish.
Happy to see a South Dakota sunset again. Mexico was wonderful but I sure missed my kids.
Jumped right back into children’s activities Wednesday morning. Little man had preschool and our parent group was lucky enough to have a local resident, who originally came from the Philippines, teach us how to cook Shanghai rolls. They were amazing!
Driving between my in-laws’ and home, I spotted a bald eagle soaring. This guy swooped around for quite a while.
Snapped a quick family picture so I could finish the Christmas card. We all were freezing, but only had to deal with coats off for a few moments.
The big kids participated in the annual Christmas Play after mass Saturday night. We had the perfect number of kids to fill all the pivotal roles. The children did a fantastic job getting parishioners in the proper Christmas spirit.
Thanks for looking at my extra-long post this week. Please continue through the circle by visiting my friend Cynthia’s blog.
I love these!!! Great sunset images and I love the shares from your vacation. Plus the Christmas play is too precious!
Merry Christmas Jaimi! I loved seeing what you’ve been up to for the past little while. Mexico – how wonderful. I laughed when I saw that you made your kids take their coats off – our poor photographers’ children! 🙂 It’s a great photo though – totally worth it!
wow… what a fun week Jaimi. I love all of these. You have a beautiful family!
