My 365 | Week 40
3.30.14 – 4.5.14
The kids and I snuck out on this flock of geese. This doesn’t begin to do justice to how many birds had rested for the night in this cornfield.
What a difference a day makes. Blizzard again. I felt so bad for our babies being born. Brady spent a long day out in the nasty weather getting all the new calves hauled to the barn and snuggled in with their mommas.
No fooling on April 1st in our house – happy birthday to my oldest!! Grandma and grandpa Reimer called to Facetime just as she was set to open her presents after school.
The birthday girl received so many calls the past few days (birthday wishes), that she finally told me, “Don’t bother answering the phone, mom. It’s always for me. I’ll just do it.”
We love Facetiming (is that even a word??) with the Colorado cousins.
Jake got “new to him” camoflage snowpants the other day and he won’t take them off. He’s been playing “army pilot” non-stop. He is in his cockpit here – made from a beanbag surrounded by couch pillows.
So happy to see the sunshine! Jimmy is adjusting so much better to his anti-seizure medication. We’re so happy to see his personality return.
I spent the weekend at a photography conference so missed linking up with the regular 365 circle. If you want to check in on them, follow this link to Vironica.
Beautiful photos! The photo of your daughter that is above her bed made me smile. I bought that dress from your rummage sale last summer and my daughter, Reva, loves, loves, loves it. It will be a sad day when she outgrows it.
I’m so glad she loves it! It was one of my favorites, too.
