My 365 | Week 45
5.4.14 – 5.10.14
Rounded up the bulls and herded them south to my in-laws’ place. They’ll enjoy a green pasture to themselves before turn-out with the ladies later this spring.
Spring concert night for Miller Elementary. Can you spot my middle son? He’s the super excited one in the front row.
One shouldn’t ever be surprised at what a farm kid might haul around in his little red wagon.
My baby was so proud to finish his first year of preschool. A few days after this, he asked how long 10 years was. I told him he would be 14 then. He squealed with delight replying, “I will be a HIGH SCHOOLER then!!! I can’t wait to be a high schooler!!!” Sad, sad mama here.
We took dad supper in the field and had a few foot races while waiting for him to get back to our end of the field.
Had a nice little rain shower go through. Gentle enough that this ginormous drop collected on my tulip leaf.
My mom came up to help out with a few things. Before I let her go home, she helped me set up for Mother’s Day photos I would be taking the following day. She and the kids were my models, making sure I had everything set correctly. It was the end of a long day of playing and the kids were less than cooperative to get in a photo with grandma or me.
Thanks for looking at my week. Click on over to Cynthia’s blog to see her dailies of the week.
