My 365 | Week 46
5.11.14 – 5.17.14
A big shout-out to my father-in-law for grabbing my camera and taking this shot of my sister-in-law, myself, my daughter and my mother-in-law – I love it!!
Tricia’s drum group practicing their number using glow sticks.
May showers bring muddy roads. I am thankful for the moisture, our crops and pastures desperately need it.
Tricia’s drumline group, Sheltered Reality, performed at Miller Elementary School. They brought down guest drummers from the audience (including a few teachers) for this number – then surprised them with choreography, too!
The last day of school ends with the Fun Field Day. I helped with the kindergarteners and first graders. They are an awesome bunch of kids. Jimmy and his friend made it through the three-legged race after a few falls.
Jake also had his last day of pre-school. He made a cute art project using his feet as paint brushes. He wanted his feet washed immediately but I made him sit a second to get this.
The first family “bombfire”, as Jake calls it, of the summer in our backyard. We shared a beautiful evening roasting s’mores and watching the stars.
Continue through our blog circle to visit my photographer friend, Jenny, and see her adventures from the past week.
Oh Jaimi these are fabulous! I especially LOVE LOVE LOVE the drums with the glow sticks! my kids were super impressed by it! What a wonderful week and great way to finish school!
