The first snow
The first snow of the season is magical. No matter the age, the breathtaking beauty of, after wandering sleepy eyed to the living room, finding the landscape turned white overnight is amazing!
Our youngest is little enough to not (completely) remember this from last year. His daddy asked him what that was outside,
“Inoknow (I don’t know). wow. Wow. WOW!!!”
The snow still drifts gently down keeping my kids glued to the picture window.
I don’t want them to grow up. I want to keep them in their jammies, snuggled together, watching the snow fall, forever.
They look so snuggly, what great shots to remember this time in your life! I love the depth field in your first shot!
What a sweet and precious photo of all three of them. First snowfall is a big deal. In Texas, it’s a really big deal since we rarely get any. 🙂 Hope they had fun. Oh, and my Betsy bag came yesterday. 🙂
Lovely shots! I so hope we get snow this year in the Seattle area. It really is so special.
I hear that!!!! I can’t believe we don’t have our first real snow fall yet (we live in Buffalo!), but – this is a must picture! My little man (2 years) will not remember snow from last year – so that will be fun too!
