Lensbaby Project | May Flowers
Finally – tulips! It’s been a long time coming, but I was so happy to see the little yellow blooms in my garden. I took these after receiving a rain last weekend (also a long time coming)! The last time it rained a measurable amount here was July 18, 2012. How do I know that? I took one of my favorite pictures of my littlest one playing in a mud puddle. (The only mud puddle pic in my kids + family group HERE.)
Each month I participate in a Lensbaby blog circle, in which several talented photographers participate and link to each other’s blog posts to create a full “circle”. Please keep clicking through the circle by visiting Heather Chang Photography.
While I was shooting flowers, my kids were busy creating a masterpiece on our sidewalk.
A few from our Memorial Weekend trip home to my parents’. The Missouri River landscape I grew up with.

Love that you showed a contrast of the close up tulips and the vast South Dakota landscape. The first lake shot is my favorite!
These are great Jaimi! And I took a peek at that mudpuddle one you referenced, I love that! I’m going to let my little guy play in mud puddles too! Great job this month!
Love those vibrant tulips! And I love the fast moving scooter capture …. must have been tricky! 🙂
These are lovely! The tulips and riverscapes are very different but both beautiful!
these are great, Jaimi! Missouri River shot is my favorite!
love the river shots! great job!
It’s so neat when our kids decide to make beautiful things too! 🙂
I have never been to Missouri. I really enjoyed the river bank shot. It looks so different compared to Florida’s. I live right by one, here. 🙂
Love these! And very artistic pavement chalking!
