What are little boys made of?

Frogs and snails

And puppy-dogs’ tails,

That’s what little boys are made of.

Oh the joy of finding frogs in the water tank! The kids couldn’t have been more excited to find the critters in the tank. What they thought was going to be a boring wait while dad and grandpa fixed the electric fence turned into a grand adventure.

One of the great coming of age rituals on the ranch…finding out exactly what touching an electric fence feels like. {See dad smiling there in the corner? He didn’t have the fencer turned on yet, but the boys didn’t know it.}
